England sets new world record for highest ODI total

England set a new World record for the highest ODI total when they posted 444/3 in the 3rd ODI against Pakistan at Trent Bridge.

Alex Hales also posted the highest score by an England Batsman in ODI.

Mitchell Starc - Fastest to 100 wickets in ODI History

Mitchell Starc became the fastest to scalp 100 wickets in ODI's when he took the wicket of Dhananjaya de Silva during the first ODI against Sri lanka at Colombo.

Rangana Herath creates record: Most wickets by a Left arm bowler in a test series of 3 matches or less

Rangana Herath registered a record when he finished as the leading wicket taker with 28 wickets in the series against Australia which Sri Lanka whitewashed by 3-0. Herath was also the Man of the series for his outstanding performance throughout the series.

Australian wicketkeeper Peter Nevill stumped Sri Lanka batsman Dimuth Karunaratne when the batsman after missing a turning delivery from Nathan Lyon, lifted his back leg, which had been inside the crease. As the back leg slightly lifted, Nevill whipped off the bails. The appeal was reviewed and Karunaratne was adjudged stumped.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha partnership records

Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha registered few records during their 213 runs partnership for 6th wicket against West Indies in the 3rd test at Gros Islet. Ashwin scored 118 and Saha 104 in India's total of 353.

Kane Williamson - Hundreds against all other Test Nations

Kane Williamson became the 13th player to score hundreds against all other test playing nations during his knock of 113 against Zimbabwe in the 2nd test at Bulawayo.

Rangana Herath - Hat-trick against Australia at Galle

Rangana Herath dismissed Adam Voges, Peter Nevill and Mitchell Starc to complete a hat-trick which helped Sri Lanka beat Australia in the Second test at Galle by a margin of 229 runs.

Roston Chase creates History

Roston Chase made a fantastic hundred to help salvage a draw for West Indies in the 2nd test against India at Kingston. He also had a 5 wicket haul in the same test which made him achieve a feat which no other West Indian player achieved during the past 50 years.
